Teams and Workers Mixer Party Saturday Night

July 11, 2010
Posted by Kathy Moody

Hey all you Workers, MaxAttackers, and everyone else at NEFR 2010, listen up!

After talking with Ted and Tim, MaxAttack decided to put together a party to get the rally community mixing after the awards presentation on Saturday night. So after we hand out awards and the Happy Gilmore checks at the Foggy Goggle, come on down to the Sunday River Ski Dorms for a good ol’ fashioned rally party!

Here’s the deal:

The Ski Dorms have a large common area conducive to this sort of thing. Team O’Neil will provide snacks and soda. Other than that, it’s BYOB.

I would request this of the MaxAttackers… If you are buying some B for your team to take to the party (and you aren’t looking at a big body shop bill before LSPR), please buy some extra B to share with our worker friends. Workers, I know your wrist is itching like a pair of tight, sweaty underwear by Saturday night, but please leave your wristband on so we competitors know who to bestow a complimentary treat upon.

Maybe you’re working the event and want to know a bit more about how to get a car going. Maybe you were spectating and want to get involved and work the event next year. This is your place. Ask away. Let’s enjoy the company of those who we depend upon to make American Rally happen.

Shuttle busses will be available to take you to your lodging if you should not be driving at the end of the evening. There are also bunks to “rest” in the Dorms. Let’s make sure everyone stays happy and safe, but let’s have a great time, tell lies, and celebrate the best freakin’ motorsport on earth together!

The NEFR is pleased to announce the famous Mt. Washington Auto Road as the latest sponsor to join the rally and help make this event possible. Not only that, but the Auto Road is now holding a contest to give away some very cool rally-related prizes.

Grand prize is a “Rally Ride Experience” for two at the Team O’Neil Rally School in Dalton, New Hampshire. Second prize is tickets for two for the NEFR VIP bus on Saturday the 17th.

Enter to win both prizes at the Auto Road website.

The Mount Washington Auto Road is an unforgetable ride up New England’s highest peak. Featuring increadible vistas and unpredictable weather patterns ranging from bluebird skies, to strong winds, or swirling clouds, no two trips are alike.

Take a drive up Mt. Washington while you’re in town for the rally. See the event map here for directions.
